Sun is characterized by simplicity in form and fabrication. The wall lamp consists of four individual parts: Wall mount, light base, reflector and colour carrier. The minimalist design corresponds with the simple geometry of the components. The angle of the indirect light can be influenced by adjusting the lamp shade, with the inside functioning as a reflector. All elements are made from a sheet steel by laser cutting and folded in a special way so that they interlock, eliminating the need of additional parts. A driverless High Brightness LED is used as light source. Sun’s design combines timeless, iconic shapes with state-of-the-art production and lighting technology. The powder coated circular lampshade comes in many different colours and leaves a striking and simple marking on the wall even when switched off.
